Short activity can also be covering as well as new bets being made though I think like all speculators the shorts are probably only betting on 5.80 - 5.75 in any real numbers same as spec day traders buying in early hoping the sp rises 10-20c - we'll drift around here until something happens - we're at the mercy of management.
Just checked the asx options - the big action is spread between $5 & $7 which must mean some of those who made bets on the way down still haven't taken their profits?
What's bizzare is that there are bets that can be made all the way to $20 but these are for longs as you can bet short or long - the spread is between 10c and $20... I'm just spewing I didn't bet on that girl the other day bringing it home at 100 to 1now that's about the only gambling I do - the Melbourne Cup.
