Hi Guys/Gals,
I've been using Bell Direct for yrs with zero hassles.
Instant funds available when sale goes through, quick bank transfers, good news feeds, excellent customer service on the phone with any issues, very useful transaction tickets with inbuilt market depth, easy alerts, good execution, useful EOFY reports, reasonable mobile platform, sensible market commentary and search/screening resources, comparable or better brokerage rates although Interactive Brokers is probably cheapest but OMG have you seen their platform?
Charts are a little clunky but enough info on the platform to do what you want on the day then go home to your favourite charting program.
Also offering a low cost super fund service for SMSFs.
I also take comfort in being with one of the smaller online brokers, as I heard/read reports of mainstream online brokers' servers crashing due to overload in the GFC panic days. Never happened at Bell.
