I did the calculation. It is almost 5.

1 barrell is about 159 litres.
1000 litres = 1 cubic metre
Litres not Liters - the USA forever stuff s it up.

1 cubic kilomter = 1000,000,000 cubic meters (m3).

I've forgotten the figure I used for world daily consumption. You do the calculation for your own satisfaction.

Of course this does not include (so called) natural gas which I prefer to use to describe a fart, and COAL.

And of course Uranium is patently insanely expensive already when compared to what AUSRA (and others) are proposing by way of solar for base load.

But that is what we get when we run a country on democracy. We get what we deserve. And stupid people deserve what they are told they should have.

And somehow I feel I'm "turning into China" (which used to be "turning Japanesa"! more every year.

Imagine, a country without religion? First thought = China. And you may well imagine a superior system to a democracy driven by religion, aka USA, and increasingly (because we are increrasingly becoming stupider and stupider) Australia.
