I reckon the market has 'priced in' a .5% rate cut.
If that is exceeded you would think the US market would react favourably, although given the number of commentators who are arguing against further cuts, the fear of a liquidity trap might spook the market and it could go down!
On the other hand if the Fed doesn't cut rates the market will probably tank (although I would argue it should react favourably looking from a longer-term strictly economic perspective.)
