Minister Kairuki meets the Japanese Embassy in the country


Mineral Minister, Angellah Kairuki today met with Japan ambassador in the country, Masaharu Yoshida in Dodoma aimed at discussing how to cooperate in mining in the country.

Speaking at the session, Minister Kairuki said the goal of the session was to discuss the preparation of the Investment Platform for the Mineral Sector between Tanzania and Japan.
He said through the forum, stakeholders from both countries will be aware of opportunities for investment in the mining sector such as mining value in the country and how to build potential miners.
Kairuki added that apart from the various opportunities in the mining sector the forum will look at how to increase employment in the sector by building capacity for local mining stakeholders.
Ambassador Yoshida joined the Director of Foreign Affairs responsible for investment issues in the mining industry.
