    Gotta disagree about oil.
    Energy driven inflation, vain attempts at crop based fuels causing food shortages, OPEC unable to increase output.
    Oil is rising against a falling US$ but also being driven by supply constraints which are unable to respond to record prices.
    All this without any major geopolitical events and the liklihood of a US recession.
