Are AstraZeneca preparing to purchase spl, page-7

I have no suspicion of a takeover, I feel it is extremely unlikely.
At the current pace of the partnership program development with AZD0466 and the like, Astrazenica get access to our technology for a low % of any potential takeover for many years to come.

The major announcments we have been informed we will be getting this year include:
AZD0466 entering Phase 1 clinical trials (IMO the main announcment for the year as it gives more confidence in the partnership potential)
Partnering and FDA approval for the US market for Vivagel BV

I feel Australia is close to an irrelevant market size for Vivagel and therefore am not concerned with the timing of the launch as long as it meets our managements forcasts.

I'm looking forward to the annual report to see if we can firm up some expected timeframes for some of the key announcments this year.
