Also you should factor into the timeline the time between settlement and when Shine receives the disbursements. Looking back at articles De Puy settled end of March 2016 and the 2016 investor presentation says they expected (but hadn't yet received) the money around August 2016.

So you can tack around 4 additional months to the time frame for any impact to results. Most likely this will not impact the February HY results but the September 2019 results should include any fees from settlement (assuming it successful settles by then).

So i guess it depends on what you want this settlement to do for you.

Perhaps Shine will announce any settlement to the market and there will be articles in the press which should be positive for sentiment (short term) and this would all happen straight after settlement.

However i don't know the extent this will actually impact price. It could be argued that this is already priced in, given the CA looks likely to succeed, and the government's apology to the women (to the extent that matters since politicians are primarily concerned with optics and not legal liability. It's easy for them to virtue signal - words are cheap)

But a large settlement would certainly give investors the warm and fuzzies - so who knows.
