guvol, well I retract the statement that ALL TTY shareholders were stupid, but if you had read ALL the posts on this site as well ASF etc, then you could say that they were against the takeover of ConsMin. Which I still say was STUPID.
The shareprice was around $1.50, if TTY shareholders in general had have thought the takeover was good then the shareprice would have gone UP, not DOWN.
You can say that TTY shareholders voted with their feet and down she went to $1.

Many wanted the partial script takeover by TTY, but not with TTY at $1. In fact if the TTY shareprice had of gone UP to $1.75 it would have been a far better deal than Palmary offer of $5.
All those loyal TTY shareholders who drove down the price did everyone including Australia NO favours. A great company lost to an overseas investor who knew more about Manganese and Chromite than the management of ConsMin ( D.Carter and R.Baxter). I know a little more than you realise.
ConsMin only went backwards after MK was sacked. Do you realise that the likes of IRL were originally a ConsMin concept when MK was in charge, and when they sacked him they threw all the babies out with the bathwater. Nearly all the top ConsMin personnel left ConsMin, all wanting to be a part of ConsMin No 2, but it's actually called TTY.
