Interested in following up your thought on sand.
Just plain old sand (other than stuff from the sea) is in short supply.
The sand will be refined to some degree and once on a processing line could easily be refined further.
The logistics are already sorted so the sand should be cost competitive

.....and so on, but the real value of silica depends on its purity.Can any of you brainiacs help me with info on ADN's "sand".
Imagine the cashflows if our waste product proved to be easily processed to a high value product!!
Here we are- $9-$10 a Kg retail for 4N silica!
