I actually spent a few days reading through every NST post from 2011 until 2018 here on HC about a year ago to try and see what signs were present that would allow you pick that NST was going to be the one. The two major standouts was Bill's inside knowledge of Paulsens and how open he was about progress through the early stages. Many were very skeptical about NST, but anyone who saw that NST was not your normal junior explorer did very, very well.
