My thoughts exactly @Woodpekker
Ive said the same . ( my years reading Re graphene . GO - Huge , huge differences in final functionality, longevity , using cheaper synthesised GO from graphites not so high grade , to highest grade . This is without even getting into - what it is that each functionality needs. )
End higher advanced materials - wow - the purposes not refined yet - they’ll be refined with products such as ADN offtake .
In this case - first we begin with DSo , Hallyosite - Kaolin- as ‘product ‘ . Sales .
No 1. SS on its way .
The longer , greater story- I don’t think any of us here at the moment could comprehend . The book still to be written.
ALL natural materials - from natural derived sourced - natural raw materials- lend specific characteristics to final product .
Wool - insulation , fire retarding . Absorbs heat away into its fibres , so is cooling . Or the opposite - can hold in heat - effect keeps warmth in . Keeps thermal outside - out .
We are familiar with metals - Cu , conductivity . Gold highest Nobel metal . Expensive !
Silver and copper - anti microbial. Gold also inhibits growth of foreign , disease causing biofilms.
It could be excellent, to have people such as @spid , aboard , with time .
This will be a journey .
Right atm - this is still early days and new uses or demand. Evolving.
Ceramics , nano composites- mah , sure though
Ceramics. With Zircon for strength , Hallyosite for ‘fill ‘ - nanoparticles?
At present imo - I not a fan of composite nanoparticles . Health hazard . Wear - then staining but slurry ingress .
Personally I am thrilled -this is a Natural ore , natural resource material .
Better by far in nanoparticles- to have Natural nanoparticles ., I don’t know . But a good guess , and this what you shared above .
However .. nanoparticles ~ behave unpredictably , once they are nanoparticles.
I prefer , be amazing mostly to see eg. Hallyosite product go towards medical applications or into high precision , seals , repairs including medical prostheses , or goodness knows .
Limitless notions - perhaps - depends on what is needed.
Im a proud MEP holder .
Excited as - about the separate research unit for advanced materials , research with hallyosite , specifically Poochera Hallyosite .
’All Oils ain’t oils. ‘.
Natural foods even , and naturally grown fibres certainly- uniqueness of character— quality of properties . Think of bamboo even .
We don’t want just be seen as Hallyosite producers - for into ceramics .. sure - excellent application , into high quality ceramics .
It will be much more complex- and far far more interesting than this .
in case of here - there is only just beginning to be grades / gradings of and applicable properties or what can be used for , and what is best production for high value requirements!
Start with the best grade and purity - and have good uniformity . Seems positive .
