These are my thoughts to your points.
1) I expect a TH for the SS. Let’s be honest, they help emphasise good news (or bad), which in this case will boost buyer interest. They could use today’s price action (on no news) to pull a TH tomorrow and release SS Thursday.
2) I think some retailers (including those on HC) have priced in the SS, and maybe some of the more risk tolerable institutions. The majority of the institutions (who will provide majority of buyer volume) will need the SS to lower risk/meet corporate investment requirements.
