If I can help people understand what the company is doing then it helps the company (and my investment) in the long wrong. I try to do that in a balanced way (a reason I post assumptions - people can throw stones at them).

Andromeda have a great opportunity to build an unusually strong business not burdened by debt. I also think they can become a significant employer in their local economy and this is something I would like to see. There is limited opportunity in many small towns so it would be good to see one small part of the country get a boost.

Unfortunately we have excessive churn in the market for short-term gains but I wonder how much stronger our economy would be if the shackles of churn were removed from good companies. I personally think the CGT discount measures aren't enough to encourage long term investment. It's also not a level playing field with the manipulative practices that occur (particularly small value trades that down-tick the price).
