$10 was a long time ago.

Does the company have a future.

    Some think so.

If you are still holding from $10...you are obviously beyond long term....ie: dont give a crap about your money...you make a decision..put it in and leave it for good...or until you die and pass to relatives.

Some want a return in this life time.

I think CNP will come through.

I cant ever see $10 again but I am a share novice...more a 1 to 6 month player...2 years if she has the goods.

I think CNP will pull through to be honest....CNP has the banks by the balls.

If you were the ANZ or NAB and I loaned from you 3 billion...unsecured......and your profit annually was like 3 billion......would you write my loan of to you?

I don’t think any bank is in a position to write these loans off.

You are asking a bank to take a loss that would wipe out a full year of hard earned taxed profit.

    Would you?

I wouldn't. I would say...come guys...you can do it...trade your way out of it...here is an extension....do it...you got 2 years or we liquidate you.

    I don’t know...that’s my reasoning.

I don’t think in the sub-prime fiasco...any Australian bank exposed to CNP can afford to write of 1 billion or 3 billion on their bottom line.

I have no need to ramp, coerce or engage any but thought I would post my thought to see if anyone would like to discuss or argue it out.

I have racked my brains on this one....this is not an ABS, AFG or MFS...CNP has actual goods that if sold now...everything sold..they would probably end up with 3 billion to their name.

But that’s not the name of the game of business.

You need to stay geared and to be making money.

So CNP is still trying to stack it in their favour.

Honestly...I think almost they should cash out and start again...renew the team and build again...yeah they will have $2-$3 billion..But maybe re-fresh things.

The old CNP board didn’t even pre-pare for the sub-prime....I reckon its time to push them along.

From here though....CNP actually is sitting nicely.

Tomorrow..yeah we get the bad bad bad results we already no about.

What we are waiting on though is the lenders response to those results.

Will they bankrupt and write-off 1 year of profit? Or will they accept interest payments as CNP has been fulfilling and give a 1-2 year breather?

    We will see tomorrow.

I mis-read this one. I put them with AFG, MFS, ABS...big mistake....this may be an ALL when they mucked up on those South American accounts and fell 95% but rebounded.

$10...no way...$2...yeah in 6 months if they jump through the hoops and pull their heads in.

Lot of work though.....a heap of work.
