It will be good to compare the China numbers to what we are seeing out of Italy and the US in the next few weeks.
Italy is about the same size as Hebei. Currently China has roughly 11x the number of cases as Italy but Italy has a higher CFR. If this stays in track the Italy will have more deaths than China.. Yes, Italy has older demographic but does that make their deaths less important?
The real concern is the US who have handled this poorly and their health care system is just not equipmed to cope the the number of patients they will need to see and admit. They are currently only testing those that need to be hosptialised or have been on a petri dish of disease.
It will be an interesting couple of weeks. Buckle up.
