Ann: SMS receives Stage II FAA Issue Paper, page-26

Been absent from commenting here for a while now, (reading though) A lot of vitriol been flowing eh?
Seen huge paper gains and losses.
I've written this before, SAFETY never goes away. The question has always been:
*Will this technology actually WORK?
*Will it be affordable?
*Will 'they' buy it?

My simple thought to those, is increasingly Yes. This is not expensive kit, it works, and there's nothing like it out there.

Not telling you what to do or think, but getting stuff into airplanes is as hard as bringing new drugs to market. Laborious, Detailed and Expensive and Time consuming. We won't see and alternative get through the same hoops in a decade.
