What an idiotic post...sorry to be so harsh but honestly some people just don't get it do they?
Shorting has been banned on our market for two months and what good has it done? Go back and see where we were on the chart two months ago. Other bourses have lifted there bans last month and have a look at how overseas indices have outperformed our index over the last month. The fact is if the market had shorts in place then you would have gotten a decent short cover rally today following the Dows performance last night. But by having no shorts you decimate the buying pressure. I don't expect you to understand this but seriously if you can't grasp the concept then you really shouldn't be participating in the market.
