so AMP have reduced their fee by about 18%, and therefore probably their profit by about 30% on what was one of their most profitable bits of business.
It is a move that makes good sense in terms of protecting the business from being taken over. But I do not see how it is a show of strength. It a loss of profits that will a sale less attractive.
