Agreed @madamswer - this doesn’t pass the pub test but I too support the idea of aligning management outcomes with shareholders.
My problem with the whole matter is the small allocation for retail shareholders - it almost seems like an afterthought that it was added. I won’t be bothering to spend the time completing the paperwork.
I guess the positive is that it wasn’t a steep discount to recent trading - then we all would have been howling them down. Hell the directors could have sat in the market and mopped up stock at around the capital raising pricing in hindsight.
I’ll put this one down to a rookie error on the boards part, but hopefully your representations will help them understand we are watching.
