Maybe Sarge should contact Lloyds as the distribution, marketing, stocking, etc functions are most likely in their areas of expertise than SPL. Maybe Lloyds can learn from Sarge's great experience in these areas for all the future rollouts of other new FMCG products they'll be asked to release in the future. Obviously they haven't given this much thought or refined their 'best practices' over the past X years that they've been in business. They most likely don't understand marketing, sales & distribution best practices with all the MBA's they most likely employ.
Sarge may want to share price elasticity models and provide some feedback on the current pricing strategy they've employed as they've most likely got that wrong as well.
