The assumption being made is that there will be 1 million shares at 27c to buy! If holders remain strong and hold, the sell side thins and the Shorters compete with each other to buy back their borrowed shares - they will eventually eat their own (as they are all very self interested) and the SP will eventually go back up - fairly quickly with the majority have strong hands. The best way to combat their efforts is to simply not sell any shares you own....and watch them panic as they fight amongst themselves to buy the limited shares that are are available.

I find it hard to understand the psychology of Shorters. They band together for a coordinated attack to pull the price down but end up eating their own when the squeeze eventually comes. I think the ones that gain the most are the original group of coordinators (like Nick Fabrio and his crew) as, once they’ve had their fill, they undertake a coordinated exit at the expense of their own “followers” who end up being the fodder that get burned. In essence, the followers think they are onto a good thing, only to be lead to the cliff face by the Pied Piper and his merry men. Why would you join such a cause only to be taken advantage of by those who push it? Don’t get me wrong, I have no sorrow for anyone that thinks they can serve their own self interest at the expense of others. I will happily watch them get burnt in the end.
