Medicine is, however littered with logical theories that don't work out in practice. or more often do not offer a statistical advantage.
Even successful drugs poorly marketed fail to achieve commercial success. so the risks are never small.
My thesis for SPL was built on Vivagel becoming a cash cow to fund the successful commercialisation of the DEP program. This is broken so I sold out some time ago.
COVID has also impacted the timeframe for successful completion of the DEP platform trials. I am still cautiously optimistic that SPL can overcome these challenges but am not in a position to be comfortable investing without concrete evidence.
As such will not be re-entering until there is proof of successful trials or deals. I will obviously pay a higher price at that point, but happy to pay for increased certainty.
