Also, credit to Hottod on the PNV thread, but the following provides some insight into the expected rebound of elective surgeries this year - obviously great news for Aroa sales too:

"The outlook is increasingly bright for elective surgeries in the US and UK with both nations now recording significant downturns in Covid-caused hospitalization rates following strong vaccination programs.

The US has seen an almost 80% drop in the weekly number of new hospitalizations due to Covid – from a peak of 117,000 in early January down to 23,000 in the last week. The UK has recorded an impressive 99%+ drop – 200 new Covid hospitalizations in the past week, compared with 29,000 in early January.

Both nations are now working towards reducing the massive elective surgery backlog created by Covid. The UK Government has already pledged an extra £63bn to the NHS this year and £22bn next year to tackle the backlog.

SVB Leerink is predicting that the rebound in elective surgery in the US could see growth above pre-pandemic levels by the end of the year for a good portion of the medtech industry.
