I think the shorters are hoping for another CR. Simple as that. If ADN does another significant CR after this, before production, then I'll sell. But for the moment, I'll trust that they couldn't raise the capital at the previous SP, and that they will obtain finance for the remainder.
Remember, shorters do and have got it wrong before.
