To any of you guys who believe what Scomo, his friends and Murdoch are telling the Aussie punters in the streets, you need to talk to corporate Australia, the large building fund owners and managers, the big emitters including concrete (where IMO ADN's HK has the biggest impact: a 5% reduction in emissions at close to zero cost), the power companies (see e.g. AGL's demerger), and read up on the whole net zero by 2050 discussion - and you will soon notice how rapidly things are moving.

This will be an avalanche, a revolution that is happening so quickly, now that it has gathered momentum (just look at BEV cars), that unless we really do wake up in OZ, we WILL be left behind and pay an even higher price than what we do already. So, no, it will not happen slowly. It will happen fast, as all better things we do once we are on the rising part of the S curve. The technology is certainly there with solar/wind and battery now being the cheapest energy source there is.

As we accept net zero, we will also come to realise that we do need to develop sustainable carbon capture technologies. There is just no way around it.

Luckily, we have ADN who could play a far larger part in this, and much more quickly than what we may imagine, through one of the very few demonstrated feasible carbon capture technologies around!
