Previous SPP’s that I have been in, which have been oversubscribed, the funds have been returned to the same bank account that my dividends registered to (I am with COMSEC, so has been automatically registered).
I have had one SPP where the company returned via cheque (they are still in the dark ages). It took 3 weeks for the cheque to arrive from VIC to WA - and that was from the date that was on the cheque.
