Thats a very very bearish sentiment you are talking about and I do not agree to it.
Whilst there is a possibility for the sp to slide back to 13c, I'm expecting it to hold very firmly. Not long ago, this 13c proved to be a very strong support which withstood the period of absolute lack of news AND eofy selling. Compare this to last 3 weeks wherein we had a confident DF appearing in media interviews and the most recent update which talks about scoping,feasibility, off takes and key appointments. So I don't see sp going down below 13c unless there is a major market meltdown.
Like every other PRL investor, I'm frustrated at this "sell the news" market condition, but there isn't much we can do about it. Coupled with PRL's lacklustre attitude towards providing timely updates, this doesn't makes it better (although in the latest update they sort of acknowledged it and did say to provide regular updates in the future).
I would have thought that if the scoping came out positive, that Ann would have put a new floor under the sp say 20c however Total's intention to get the DFS underway without announcing MOU first will result in sp stagnating or dying a slow death. I'm no market analyst or expert however my observation is that ithe current market is very soft and to keep the sp buoyant, you need to throw regular Anns and news (meeting key milestones will be even better) in absence of which impatient investors, day traders keep jumping the ship.
Another reason for sp decline is lack of insto support which is understandable. In its current state the project is still risky and 'speccy' which explains why they are fleeing. Once MOU is signed and DFS done, we will see much better buying and hold from the big boys which will push and hold the sp.
Also note that the market condition has changed big time between what we had last year and this year. ASX had a dream run last year and if you picked right stocks, most would have done 5x or more within a span of 1 year. It was like SYdney property market in 2012-13 where you could throw a dart on literally any suburb and it would have doubled or almost doubled by 2017.
I'm more confident and positive than ever that PRL is a great project and has the potential to change your life (for good obviously!) its just that you need to be PAYtient.
