daytrade diaries... september 11, page-156

Hi guys,

Bit of an amatuer when it comes to trading. Im always reading through a number of hotcopper threads (one being day trading) and was just wondering where you guys get all these stocks from? i hold 2 stocks which a friend told me to research, which i did and have seen a good return. However i lack some inspiration, or know how in finding other stocks to purchase.

Do you look at particular sectors or commodoties that are doing well both here and overseas and search for companies involved in them? What is your process of selecting stocks to buy into and trade (if this is breaching a traders code or something you can disregard this question as i am unsure of rules regarding this).
