The accumulated losses of $46m are accounting losses. There are a number of reasons why accounting losses differ from tax losses. There is no deferred tax asset recognised in the accounts which tells me the auditors do not believe the recoupment of the tax losses are sufficiently certain to recognise them in the accounts. As I said before however the threshold test for loss recognition is quite high.
