Do try to talk about the 'now' rather than the 'then'. I think sensible investors know the SP was grossly inflated in March and ripe for shorting. But shorts have almost tripled in the four months since the CR, despite the SP rarely peeping over 20. Still no obvious reasons for this, other than speculation on failure.
In any case, I wasn't discussing the validity or otherwise of shorting, only refuting your claim that it "isn't even remotely shorted". Clearly by percentage of SOI, it is being shorted quite significantly. There are 2,000 companies on the ASX, only 80 have more shorts outstanding than ADN, and all but one or two of those 80 have much higher market caps.
