I think the shareprice of GTG will be solely announcement driven for the next few months. No announcements = no action either way.
I think it'll be quite a spike up and down type share initially on different announcements, finally settling into an uptrend if it can demonstrate an ongoing number of companies coughing up patent fees.
Here's hoping.
If Applera coughs up, and GTG starts forcing many others to pay up, what are the chances of a BIG biotech/pharmaceutical company trying to buy GTG?
Just a thought.
