Sorry, but this line about people with families and mortgages needing compassion and trying to put it back onto random internet posters as the devil is rubbish.
The investor is the one with the responsibility to their family and mortgage, which means managing their risk appropriately. If someone is in over their head and has derailed their finances, they're the ones betraying their family and the one who needs to take a look at themselves.
