Good analysis, the high level numbers put in plain sight the cash generation.
From Half Yearly (31 Dec);
- Net Debt $403M
- Cash on hand $107M
From March Quarterly (31 Mar)
- Net cash $161M
- Dividend $80M
- Buyback $67M
Literally $710M in free cash flow in the quarter, at an average price of ~US$230/t. Within the quarterly they state there is further upside in pricing in June quarter as contracts lag spot price.
The full year result will announce a divvy of 40-70c depending on price achieved. The cash generation in June quarter could be 15% higher, this would mean cash generation of >$835M or $3.34B annualised.
Huge is the only suitable word I have.
