"There’s been “a surge in investor capital into supply investment tied to the long term EV demand story, essentially trading a spot-driven commodity as a forward-looking equity,” the analysts said.“That fundamental mispricing has in turn generated an outsized supply response well ahead of the demand trend.” - Goldman Sachs.
A surge in investor capital does not in itself create an immediate oversupply of Lithium. It takes years to find a deposit and then more time in issuing a mining Licence and then comes the financing, and then another 2 years to build the plant. Guess what we are at 2030 before these new projects get into production.
This is my opinion. Its not advice. DYOR.
