Ann: Quarterly Activities Report & Appendix 4C, page-45

Can someone (AB perhaps) help me out here?

This quarterly states “DEP® docetaxel has enrolled 71 patients across the monotherapy and combination arms, with additional patients in screening”

The previous quarterly  states “DEP® docetaxel has recruited 71 patients…” and no mention of screening

Is there a difference here between enrolled and recruited? A quick google appears to say there is…

“As nouns the difference between recruitment and enrollment
is that recruitment is the process or art of finding candidates for a post in an organisation while enrollment is the act of enrolling or the state of being enrolled.”

Also, who are these “additional patients in screening”? Are they “recruited”  but not “enrolled”? Are they being screened (for what?) before “enrollment” or after, or even later having had some treatment? And why have them anyway, having already enrolled 71 patients?

I am still a bit cross with this quarterly
