If you remember last years AGM, resolutions 10 & 11 were withdrawn prior to the AGM. These were the issue of options to both AS and RG. Both could see the writing on the wall that they would not pass the pub test. Both knew then that their time was up and they needed to go.
RG jumped ship early while AS hung around for another 12 months to suck out as much money as he could. The timing of his departure was not a good look for either him nor the Company.
The Remuneration Report only just got over the line as it was with a 51% approval score.
If the Company don't pull a rabbit out of their hat in the short term, we may see a second strike.
I'm hoping the Company reads the room and do not pay themselves any cash bonus payments or share-based payments.
