What you do with your money is your decision. Regardless, I feel compelled to say this. Please consider stepping away from HC for a bit, then look at the situation ADN is currently in, with eyes wide open, pretend you don't have any money invested in ADN, and ask yourself, "would I invest in this company now?"

All of us have egos. Egos often lead us to make illogical decisions. To paraphrase a great investor, shares don't care how much you paid for them.

Whenever people look at averaging down, IMHO, often they aren't asking is this a good investment, but rather how can I recover what I've already spent. But what you've already spent is irrelevant to whether the investment is wise. It's tempting to average down, because its the equivalent of saying "I didn't make the wrong decision, its just bad timing". But we all make wrong decisions, all the time. So as an investor, if you can't accept making mistakes, and correcting them, then we are much more likely to lose our capital.

I can't speak for you. But when I lose confidence, I stop, readjust, and restart when I'm ready - ie when the emotion has cleared.

In short, if you are averaging down in an attempt to recover losses, then its likely you'll loose that money too. But if you are averaging down because you think this is a sound investment at this SP, with all the known risks, the unknowns, the opportunity cost, and the time-value of money, then that's a different story.

There are so many people on here with agendas. Then there are others with no clue. Some posters are great, but they are speaking from their risk tolerance, needs, experience, and time-frame, which might differ from yours. So what's good for them, might not be so for you. You have to do your own research, and identify your own risk.

I know this is dreadful man-splaining, and I'm sure you know the above. But sometimes it helps to be reminded of the basics, particularly when emotion (which we all have) effects judgement.

    good luck and take care
