Agree Arkie, Im all for a partial stake in return for potentially significant cashflow/rev. Every business decision has 2 sides to it, it cant be 100% perfect, one has to weigh up the pros & cons.
To me, the first step to turn around a struggling spec is for it to find a way to generate positive cashflow & hopefully start generating internally generated earnings. If this comes at the cost of further dilution (hopefully not massive), so be it.
Ask urself this question, would you rather prefer to invest in a company:
That generates positive CF/rev/EBIT on the back of some dilution, OR
One that does not intend to dilute shareholding at all but struggles to find any means of generating positive CF.
Like I said, no perfect decision, but weigh up which one is the most important one in the current financial climate.
