I am allowed to address the AGM in three weeks time and this is what I will say.
I am not a PhD, I did not complete my chemical engineering degree, instead I was offered job as a computer programmer at the age of 20 after an aptitude test and have never looked back. I have been a director of successful private companies since 1985, have been a board member and President of Melbourne's second oldest gentlemen's club, the first to admit women. I am also on the board of an international "Not for profit" foundation based in Texas which assists 9,000 individuals in 40 countries.
If elected I will seek to discover the reasons for some of Starpharma's problems:
Why Mundipharma has not not had stock of the BV product for over three months?
Why the Indian distributorship failed to materialise?
Did the company receive a Complete Response Letter from the FDA and what has happened since?
Why do none of the government or medical web sites in this country not mention Fleurstat as a treatment for BV five years after its approval by the TGA?
What happened to the viral conjunctivitis treatment?
What is Starpharma's marketing and advertising budget for astodrimer sodium products?
Why did the DEP-Docteaxel trial take so long and what are they really looking for, today?
Have they rejected offers for any of the DEP drugs?
What happened to the other AstraZeneca drug development where AZ and SPL had various options?
If elected I will not take a cent until the share price exceeds $1. I will instead ask that a budget equivalent to my directors fee be established to conduct a focussed digital marketing campaign under my direction for Fleurstat in Australia along the lines I suggested to the company a year ago.
I will be the cheapest director Starpharma ever had.
