These numbers are shown in the graph are aggregated and require 4 days after the fact to be reported and collated. So that's why it's behind. The numbers reported in shortman are non-aggregated shorts for the previous day. The non-aggregated shorts do not include shorts that were closed in that day, just the new open shorts.
