There's certainly a lot to it once you get in to the plumbing- or even just scratching the surface- thanks for that Choppa!
Last weekend a podcast I listened to explored how derivatives markets can sometimes "wag the tail" of the underlying security and on other occasions add fuel to the current directional move- they were mainly talking about options. The snip you included was pretty much a summary of talking points they discussed for each situation- so nice timing with helping me to lock that conversation in to my head!
