Officially we know only this from the company about where to next (see below): On the face of it, as a layman these steps could take considerable time to accomplish.
CXO888, I am of the impression you are still compiling a list of questions and forwarding it to the BoD. If the following questions have not already made it onto your list can you please ask the following. If you have a deadline for questions, please advise when that is. No doubt we will need to give them a bit of notice. If you have already sent the questions, please let me know.
So further questions are:
1. Do you envisage any difficulties transferring this technology to a production compatible process? If you do, what are our chances of successfully navigating these issues?
2. Are you able to provide an estimate of the time required to complete this process ?
3. Other than collecting significant data at the megabit chip level, what other steps do you expect are necessary before we are able to take this technology to market and eventual sale to either a memory maker or buyer etc.,, ? One again, are you confident (at this stage) that memory buyers and will be interested ? How interested ?
4. Given that our patents are 'time sensitive' in terms of the value to a prospective buyer, how keen are you to get this to market as soon as possible?
5 . Has IMEC prioritised their further involvement with 4DS, in order to commercialise this technology as soon as possible?
6. Do you envisage a role for IMEC in the commercialisation process as a 'technology broker' ?
