What’s the groups thoughts on how many Gen 3 furnaces will be required to increase Riversides capacity to 20,000tpa
Currently there’s 2 furnaces & associated equipment.
My thoughts are another 2
That would indicate each furnace has a production capacity of approx 5000tpa
If that’s correct then 150,000t will require 30 furnaces,
if Novonix have indicated to Harper they would be purchasing $280m in furnaces by 2030 that would suggest $9.3m per furnace which supports the overall project cost of $43m for the complete build & installation of the first 2 & all services & operating equipment as per the original project.
I’ve posted this document previously but it’s always worth a read & some might not have seen it before.

Back to my original Question of how many furnaces will be required to increase production to 20ktpa
Is it 2 or more or status quo.
