This Brisbane to Melbourne Pacific National intermodal has what for my eyes is a new record of 18 LAU railable containers, plus numerous ex-Rand (part of failed Scott's Refrigerated Transport) containers, many of which may be owned by LAU given it expended $22 million on such items and associated assets.
This was two days after Christmas so perhaps some of the containers were empty, but LAU doesn't just send containers on trains to amuse the CEO or Directors.
Very encouraging for a start to the New Year from yesterday.
