ADN has never stated that Pt Lincoln might be considered as an "industrial hub" for it's works.

What would it be doing at that "industrial hub" 300km from the mine? Surely not processing raw ore. The plant on the site of the mine will do all processing to get the product ready for export. Nothing left to do but freight that processed product to port. (Streaky Bay already has the pilot plant).

Port Lincoln is however in the mix as a possible port (as is Thevenard at Ceduna, Whyalla, Port Augusta, Port Pirie, Port Adelaide and Lucky Bay). However Port Lincoln has a major problem in that it is not a container port. Would need tens of millions to fix that. If the narrow gauge grain railway from Poochera to Port Lincoln could be made serviceable again (more tens of millions) this would help immensely.

Also Mt Hope is no longer in the mix whatsoever. Mt Hope has been completely blown out of the water by the new Chairlift deposit which has 100 years of supply within trucking distance of the GW plant and a CRM grade better than Great White and seemingly matching Ukranian clays. It also has decades and decades of HRM.

Whatever happens at Whalers Way, kilometres west of Pt Lincoln, is utterly irrelevant to Poochera 300ks to the north.
