I just had a fleeting thought. All speculation of course, but I used to work for a business two years ago and we had flown staff in from Mongolia to train them in all the aspects of servicing mining vehicles in respect to tyres and wheels. (I was operations manager of a global tyre and wheel company that was owned by the U.S) The Mongolians were part of a business based in Ulaanbaataar. However the connection i see here is that we also changed our auditing company to KPMG (who i have worked with) - This change was made to better suit the requirements of the end user - none other than Rio Tinto.
Could be just co-incidental.
