I think you just can't face the reality, you're too embarrassed or maybe ignorant ? to face the fact that around 200,000 of those 'Westerners' you hate so much including around 12,500 Australians and New Zealanders who travelled from the other side of the Planet over a 100 years ago to help out and effectively died for Russian interests at their request for help.
