TGA has raided a compounding pharmacy in South Yarra in regard to the manufacture of an Ozempic like medicine.
There isn't, actually, anything illegal about a pharmacist making up a medicine from available ingredients. Obviously the compound cannot be labelled as Ozempic,
TGA say that this raid was about ensuring quality and safety.
What RUBBISH, this raid was about complaints by commercial interests in retaining a very expensive non PBS medicine.
