From memory the Great White mine is either on the Hundred of Chandada or the County of Chandada (within the Streaky Bay council area).
All rural areas are crisscrossed with one chain wide roads (surveyed 150 years ago) that have never been used and sit unnoticed as easements on the land. My ruff guess is that one of these easements crosses over, or near, the mine and that ADN would prefer it to be extinguished.
